RECIPE IDEAS

Curtido Avocado Toast
I like to start my day with ferments to get my digestion off to a good start. A personal favorite is sourdough toast with avocado and any of our ferments- curtido probably being my favorite.
Kimchi-Miso Soup
My favorite convenient, warming, healing meal when I’m sick. Just heat up bone broth on the stove & drop in an egg (either poach whole, or scramble for egg-drop style). When the egg is finished cooking, remove from heat. Whisk in miso and a hefty scoop of Kimchi. The kimchi adds vegetables plus a perfectly balanced ginger/garlic/pepper flavor profile so you don’t have to grate, chop, or lift a finger.

Pickle Dip
An easy, delicious potluck dish. Chop up Lemon Dill sauerkraut and simply add to whole milk yogurt or sour cream. Add an extra splash of lemon juice and salt to taste. You may choose to add extra dill or minced garlic to make the flavor stronger. I serve in a bowl with crackers or chopped vegetables.
Kimchi and Grits
Kimchi, grits, bacon, and fresh tomatoes hits the spot for a hearty and unique summertime breakfast. Make sure to get a little bit of kimchi with each bite for a full flavored experience!

Kraut and Trout Salad
Sauerkraut is a great salad topping for salads of all kinds. One of my favorite combinations is a mix of lettuce, arugula, local smoked trout, and Lemon Dill Kraut. Goat cheese is an excellent addition if you have it on hand.
